Thankfully I have no lawn to mow - one of the few advantages of living in a flat - as I hate the task.
Sunny this morning but started to rain about an hour ago, just after lunch. Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by rulers as useful.

Snow, windy (an Arctic blast now and then) and just plain miserable. They've postponed spring this year due to adverse weather conditions. Our lawn
hasn't grown since last year, so no lawn-mowing here yet - our house faces north, so gets the brunt of the North Winds.

Saw a golf course watering this morning taking the kids to school. Wherever the water hit, was full of frost.

Well in the winter the snow line (if there is one) is generally 6,000
feet. Then in the spring and fall it goes up to 8,000 or 10,000.

Yes... Ben Nevis is the highest mountain in the UK. Scafell Pike is the highest mountain in England. Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales. You will note the tallest of these peaks is 4,400'...

Doh, you're missing out on some fun. On the other hand, Colorado has no ocean to speak of, so I guess it's six of one, half a dozen of the other.
