Perhaps what I hate most about America is that they represent the worst aspects of British Imperialism (and seem intent on making the same mistakes) without any of the good points.

Well anti-americanism has always been strong in Europe. It's based in some kind of inferiority complex (as exemplified by Rambo). Though it's clear Bush hasn't helped any.

The world in general has a very low opinion of the US. Even the UK, who are supposed to be our strongest allies, treat Americans like crap.
